Warrnambool City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and equipped companies to carry out the detailed design and construction of a community facility, to be known as the West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House, in the Pecten Avenue Reserve located at 12-16 Pecten Avenue Warrnambool.
This will enable the delivery of a range of programs from the West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House intended to improve the health, wellbeing and livability experience of the West Warrnambool community.
The structure shall be pre-fabricated modular in design and provide the ability to service a maximum of 31 occupants, made up of 27 participants, 1 staff member and 3 volunteers.
Access to the facility will be via electric door strikers to integrate with Council’s existing system with a backup keyed system.
The lump sum contract is for detailed design, earthworks, DDA compliant footpath linkage, service connection, building construction and installation.
The project aims to deliver fully accessible, DDA compliant office space, kitchen, bathroom, community meeting and multipurpose spaces, and storage.
