Tender Description
Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors for the construction of a batting cage on the Elder Street Reserve at 3 Manfred Street, Watsonia.
Scope Summary
• Securing the site, setting out of works, preparation of site-specific OH&S, traffic management, testing, and underground service location;
• Relocation of a light pole including obtaining a building permit;
• Demolition and legal disposal of existing batting cage infrastructure;
• Construction of batting cage in accordance with drawings and specifications;
• Locate and connect the roof drain to the legal point of discharge (LPD);
• Supply and set up batting cage equipment in accordance with the drawings and specifications;
• Obtain and provide compliance certificates;
• Organise works inspection and obtains final occupancy certificate;
• Site clearing and handover; and
• Council will obtain a building permit for the batting cage.
