Tender Description
The Nature Parks has a long-term vision focused on developing key areas within the Koala Conservation Reserve (KCR) to support our growing visitation and improve our visitor experience.
Previous works have been undertaken including a detailed Functional Layout Plan.
Nature Parks 5 year strategy is to enhance Phillip Islands reputation as a world class wildlife destination and provide facilities that are designed to connect people with nature, complement their environment and be safe and sustainable.
There are 2 key elements for this project:
1. Enhance visitor traffic flow and parking at the KCR facility and,
2. Create a new trail connecting Phillip Island Road to the south and Oswin Roberts Reserve to the north through the Visitor Centre “Heart” of the KCR.
The Nature Parks is seeking a principal designer to coordinate a multiskilled team for the provision of design works at the KCR.
The respondents must have the appropriate experience and qualifications to meet specific design requirements, and provide value for money, while conforming to Government policies and probity requirements.

A briefing session will be held at 1810 Phillip Island Road, Rhyll, Victoria, Australia, 3923 on 3 June 2026 11:00 am.
A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
