Tender Description
The Faculty Training Committee (FTC) is looking for a Trainee representative from Public Health Medicine.
The Committee oversees the Advanced Training program in Public Health Medicine. The key responsibilities of the FTC are to:
- assess eligibility and commencement of training.
- monitor and assess the progress of individual trainees in Public Health Medicine.
- assess recognition of prior learning.
- monitor and review training program requirements and curricula in Public Health Medicine in consultation with relevant stakeholders and recommend changes to the AFPHM Education Committee.
- oversee and review the training program at a regional level in consultation with stakeholders recommending changes, as appropriate.
- modify training requirements for individual trainees, as appropriate, in accordance with College policies and procedures.
The FTC holds 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney and 3 teleconferences per year.
The Trainee representative is appointed to the Committee for a 2-year term, with the option to renew a further 2 terms.
