Tender Description

Are you a primary care clinician living and/or working within the Primary Health Networks Urban/Inner Regional* footprint with a desire to help improve the health and wellbeing of the local community?

The Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified primary health care professionals to join its Urban/Inner Regional Strategic Engagement Advisory Group to fill one (1) current clinical member vacancy.

About the Strategic Engagement Advisory Group (SEAG)

The HNECC PHN has two Strategic Engagement Advisory Groups:

  • A Rural Strategic Engagement Advisory Group, and
  • An Urban/Inner Regional Strategic Engagement Advisory Group

The Strategic Engagement Advisory Groups play a key role in providing insights, advice, and guidance around the PHN’s strategic engagement; and specific areas and projects which align with the PHN’s purpose and strategic priorities, challenges, and ambitions. Each group consists of five primary care clinicians and five community members, representing a breadth and diversity of stakeholders from the region.

The Groups have Co-Chairs, one being a primary care clinician and the other a community member. They are linked to the HNECC PHN Board of Directors through the regular attendance at meetings of a Board member and regular reports of meeting outcomes to the Governance, Remuneration and Culture Committee, a sub-Committee of the Board, and subsequently the Board.

What is the commitment?

Members are required to attend quarterly meetings held online via Microsoft Teams from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Participants receive a flat rate sitting fee for each meeting. This covers attendance at the meeting and any associated preparation time.
