Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Are you a primary health care professional interested in how to weave research and evidence-based approaches into your everyday clinical operations?

The Primary Care Research Unit is inviting expressions of interest for engagement in our new Research Community of Practice which aims to grow research, quality improvement capacity and capability in primary health care.

Our CoP is for:

Primary health care professionals including allied health, GP practice managers, primary care nurses and general practitioners, working in the Hunter, New England, Manning or Central Coast regions of NSW

Why join?

Our CoP is a place where health professionals working in primary care can:

  • exchange knowledge, resources and ideas on research within the clinical space.
  • build relationships and connect with other primary health care professionals in the region.
  • share best practice quality improvement approaches.
  • discuss ‘wicked problems’ and brainstorm evidence-based solutions.
  • hear from researchers and subject matter experts on topics of interest.

Meeting details (starting 2026)

  • Every 2 months
  • Hourly sessions

  • Online via Teams
