Tender Description
Campaspe Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit tenders for the construction of new concrete footpaths and the renewal of existing footpath sections at various locations throughout the Shire. The renewal sites have been identified through Council’s asset condition assessments and supporting onsite inspections.
This contract encompasses all works described in the design drawings, technical specifications, and supporting documents included within the tender package.
The primary objectives of the Project are to:
- Construct all works to the required standards and within the timeframe specified in Section 4 of the tender.
- Deliver new and replacement footpaths achieving a condition rating of 0 and a minimum useful life of 50 years.
- Ensure all footpaths and associated pedestrian ramps are DDA compliant and provide a safe, continuous path of travel.
All works are to be completed in accordance with:
- Relevant Australian Standards,
- Applicable Regulations and Codes of Practice,
- All Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements, and
- All relevant Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance requirements.
Footpaths must provide a continuous, accessible path of travel including compliant pedestrian ramps, crossfalls, grades and surface treatments.
