Melton City Council currently manages the central enrolment for 24 kindergarten services which are operated by external Early Years Managers in Council-owned facilities.
An audit of outdoor play spaces at all early years facilities was undertaken and identified sites that required major upgrade works.
The Brookfield Children’s and Community Centre was identified as the highest priority site requiring outdoor play space upgrade works. This facility is essential to providing early years services and meeting growth demand within the area.
The upgrade of the final two play space areas at the Brookfield Children Centre will ensure the continuation of revitalizing the play spaces for the younger members of the community
Upgrade works on the final two outdoor play spaces (Areas A and B) that service the long day care component of the facility are now able to be constructed, forming the requirements of this RFT.
