Tender Description
This RFT seeks a qualified contractor with appropriate relative experience to undertake the routine maintenance of medical gas equipment for the following ten Health Services in the South West Region of Victoria:
- South West Healthcare (SWH) (Sites in Warrnambool, Camperdown, Lismore and Macarthur)
- Western District Health Service (WDHS) (sites in Hamilton, Penshurst and Coleraine)
- Colac Area Health (CAH)
- Portland District Health (PDH)
- Moyne Health Services (MHS)
- Terang and Mortlake Health Service (TMHS)
- Casterton Memorial Hospital (CMH)
- Heywood Rural Health (HRH)
- Great Ocean Road Health (GORH) (amalgamating in July 2019 Lorne Community Hospital (LCH) and Otway Health and Community Services (OHC))
- Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS)
The medical gas equipment to be maintained includes flow meters, regulators, adaptors, blenders, twin-o-vacs and terminal outlet panels.
The Health Services are co-ordinating their respective procurement efforts as means to help reduce the administrative and financial costs associated with the project.
Each Health Service will enter into a separate contract with their preferred supplier. Any resulting contract / deed of agreement will include the name of a single Individual Agency and the Name of the Contractor. The Initial Term of any resulting contract is expected to be 3 years.
The lowest or any offer will not necessarily be accepted.
