Maryborough Education Centre - All Abilities Track Civil Works

Project Summary
The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in August 2022 for the construction of the All Abilities Track at Maryborough Education Centre located at 102-192 Balaclava Road, Maryborough. The track will form part of the school’s energy breakthrough program and will allow students to practise and train within the safety of the school grounds. The project will include the construction of approximately 2.0km of all weather track around the school campus. Parts of the track will be formed on existing gravel paths with others on existing unformed terrain. The scope of this civil works project comprises earthworks, drainage, concrete and asphalt works. Other components include a retainign wall and railing, fence realignment and line marking.

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $500,000.

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will make a decision on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.

The Victorian School Building Authority reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to directly approach CSR registered entities under the above mentioned prequalification category to invite them to express interest in tendering for this project in the event that inappropriate and/or insufficient interest is received from parties by the date of closing of responses to this Advance Tender Notice
