Alpine Shire Council invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the construction of capping earthworks at the Porepunkah Landfill, located at 87 Tip Road, Porepunkah. The scope of works primarily includes placement of general and subgrade fill, bulk earthworks, installation of a Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL), confining layer and crushed rock, as well as construction of stormwater infrastructure and a landfill gas collection system.
The objective of the works is to deliver the capping of Areas 6 and 7 at the Porepunkah Transfer Station in accordance with the EPA-approved design, along with upgrades to portions of the existing stormwater drainage system
