Tender Description
The Whole of Government Permissions Capability Taskforce is a joint Taskforce between DTA and Home Affairs and is responsible for delivery of the Permissions Capability. The Permissions Capability will underpin the modernisation of visa and citizenship services delivery within Home Affairs, which can then be reused across agencies for other permissions-based services. The DTA is the policy owner for reuse of the Permissions Capability across government.
The Data and Integration Architect will ensure that the Permissions Capability integration approaches, including standards for data structures that drive interoperability through the WofG Application Programming Interface (API) library, are consistent in its design across use cases.
The Data and Integration Architect will:
• engage with a broad range of stakeholders to clearly, understand, define and communicate integration points of enterprise systems
• develop a set of interoperability principles for the Permissions Capability, working collaboratively with program stakeholders and the Whole of Government Architecture Taskforce
• Document and maintain the architecture of the Permissions API Gateway and an API library for known and common interfaces into external government systems
• represent and drive these principles into a multi-agency program of work
• support enterprise and solution architecture activities and deliverables
