Fire Equipment Services (FES) sets the benchmark for maintenance, training and compliance in fire safety. FES maintains portable fire equipment and fixed systems equipment (Essential Safety Measures or Life Safety Systems). While the majority of the customer base is located in metropolitan Melbourne, FES provides essential safety services at over 24,000 sites in Australia. Customers include small and large commercial premises, major hospitals, universities and government facilities. FES maintains over 320,000 items of portable fire protection equipment and 7,500 fixed fire equipment systems, as well as providing new installations and emergency safety training. All of our services are delivered to Australian Standards.

FES is an ISO 9001:2015 quality certified business. We care for our people and our customers, and ensure our occupational health and safety systems are certified according to AS/NZS 4801:2001.

The audit program aims to:
* Provide quality assurance to FES customers in line with the FES quality management system
* Satisfy the requirement of an independent quality audit of field work
* Meet internal review requirements for ongoing certification in ISO 9001:2015 and AS/NZS 4801:2001
* Contribute to the strategic development of the FES quality management system

The audit program will be limited to FES customer sites located in metropolitan region of Melbourne and Geelong in the State of Victoria.
