Tender Description
The Haematology Laboratory is part of The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Laboratory Services that provides diagnostic pathology services to RCH, The Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH), Frances Perry House (FPH) and the wider community. Laboratory Services provides paediatric and maternal testing to RCH, RWH, Frances Perry House patients and private outpatients.
The Haematology Laboratory currently performs over 190,000 tests per annum and is seeking Reagent Rental proposals with service agreements to provide automated haematology and coagulation platforms to perform the range of haematology and coagulation testing required at our Parkville campuses.
This includes the scope to provide both urgent testing in acute diagnostic settings and less urgent routine and specialised testing to support the clinical diagnosis of haematological and haemostatic diseases for RCH, RWH, FPH patients. The ability to provide this service in a timely, reliable and cost effective manner is critical to its operation.
