RMH CSSD Equipment Replacement

⁠⁠⁠Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the provision, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) equipment.

The project involves the replacement of existing sterilisation and reprocessing equipment, including but not limited to steam sterilisers, washer-disinfectors, cart washers, drying systems, and associated infrastructure. The solution is expected to support a high-volume tertiary hospital environment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and supporting efficient, safe, and reliable reprocessing operations.

RMH anticipates establishing a long-term arrangement for the supply, installation and maintenance of CSSD equipment, with an indicative contract term of 10 years, with two extension options of 2 years each (10+2+2).

A briefing is scheduled for 23/06/2026 11am-12pm AEST. Please register your interest by send an email to the above email address by 23/06/2026 10:00, the meeting will be held via Microsoft teams.

Two site inspections will be available for suppliers to physically visit RMH CSSD. 29/06/26 08:00 - 09:00 AEST and 06/07/26 08:00 - 09:00 AEST. Suppliers wishing to attend must register their interest by emailing MHtenders@RMH.org.au no later than the Friday prior to the scheduled inspection date. Further details and attendance instructions will be provided upon registration.  

The final time for any clarification requests is 08/07/2026 14:00 AEST. Any questions and enquiries placed after this time will not be answered.

The tender response must be submitted before the tender closing date of 15/07/2026 14:00 AEST via Buying for Vic. Late submissions will not be accepted.
