Tender Description
The original market hall roof at Dandenong Market is showing signs of age with parts of the roof exhibiting mild surface corrosion. This project involves painting the existing galvanised roof, including gutters and roof flashings to the extent nominated on the attached marked up plan located within the appendix of this specification.
The section of existing roof to be painted is located at the corner of Cleeland and King Street, Dandenong. Please see attached plan for further details.
The paint system to be used is a Dulux Protective Coating System as nominated within the specifications. Other similar paint systems are permitted providing that they are equivalent or exceed the specified products. Determination of equivalence must be made by the Architect. For the purposes of tendering, Tenderers are to allow for the specified system, but can also provide an alternative price based on a similar protective paint system.
