Tender Description
Kingston City Council (Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Footpath and pram crossings with traffic islands construction at Mills Road, Braeside (Stage 2).
The scope of works for this contract includes the following:
- Construction of pram crossing and footpath on Mills Road starting from Boundary Road along the Northern side of Mills Road, through the Melbourne Water Culvert ending at the pre constructed pram crossing and traffic island at Downard Street.
- Construct a new pram crossing in front of 220-230 Boundary Road.
- Match the end of new footpath to the existing pram crossing in front of 21 Mills Road.
- Use permeable material near the three trees in front of 5-15 Mills Road and one tree in front of 220 230 Boundary Road.
- Construct new footpath on the southern side of the Mills Road connecting Woodlands Drive to existing footpath in front of 88 Mills Road.
- Construct a granitic sand path in the footpath section on the Melbourne Water Culvert and replace the existing road safety barrier near the property address 88 Mills Road.
- Construct six pram crossings and three traffic islands near the Roundabout at Mills Road and Woodlands Drive Intersection.
- Relocate two traffic signs near 86-88 Woodlands Drive, and add two new signs with new poles in front of 84 Woodland Drive.
