Tender Description
The Principal is seeking Tenders for Provision of HVAC plant and equipment maintenance, repairs and testing services, and capital works.
Background
The City of Swan (the City) is the largest local government authority within the Perth metropolitan area by size covering approximately 1,042 square kilometres. The City’s boundaries extend from Bullsbrook to the north, Gidgegannup to the east, Guildford to the south and Ballajura to the west. A map of the City’s boundaries can be viewed in Attachment 4 of this Request.
Within the City’s boundaries, the Principal owns and operates a large portfolio of buildings, facilities and infrastructure.
The Principal is seeking a suitably qualified, licenced and experienced heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and cooling (HVAC) Contractor to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance, repairs and testing services and perform minor capital works up to the value of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
The Request for Tender will be issued in Separable Parts:
a. Separable Part A – City managed buildings managed by the City’s Operations business unit
b. Separable Part B – Commercial buildings portfolio managed by the City’s Business and Tourism business unit
Scope of work
The works under this Contract (WUC) include but are not limited to
a. Planned preventative maintenance
I. Air handling units (AHU)
II. Chiller sets (CHS)
III. Chilled water systems and pumps (CHWP)
IV. Refrigeration equipment and appliances (REFR)
V. Ice machines (IceM)
VI. Ducted and packaged air conditioners (DPAC)
VII. Evaporative coolers (EVAP)
VIII. Exhaust fans and Ventilation Systems (EFVS)
IX. Split and room air conditioners (SRAC)
b. Repairs – including emergency and reactive
c. Annual fire and mechanical testing
d. Minor Capital works – including HVAC installation
