Provision of vehicle telemetry and or a vehicle booking system with key control

⁠⁠⁠The Principal invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the provision of Telemetry services and/or Key booking and secure management services for the Melton City Council Fleet, and an optional service for general facility keys.

Council is seeking responses from providers of fleet vehicle booking and key management system, and telemetry systems. Council will consider systems that either provide the full service or can work in conjunction with another system to efficiently provide a complete service.

Council manages a fleet of standard passenger and task vehicles, including a small number of trucks, buses and a tractor. There are a number of trailers also included in fleet assets.

Of the standard passenger vehicles, some are dedicated to specific departments, some are pool vehicles and a small number are non-task lease vehicles provided to the Executive. The main focus are initially the vehicles other than the executive vehicles. Trailers may be added in the future, however initially tracking will be limited to road registered driven vehicles.
