This RFP relates to the procurement of a fit-for-purpose observability platform capable of supporting enterprise-wide logging, monitoring, and data lifecycle management.
Project goals
TAFE NSW are taking a two-stage process to engage an appropriate supplier.
- Stage 1 – Registration for Opportunity - see document
- Stage 2 – TAFE NSW will issue an invitation to the RFP via TAFE NSW Ariba
Scope
The scope of supplier deliverables includes the provision of a fit-for-purpose observability platform capable of supporting enterprise-wide logging, monitoring, and data lifecycle management. Vendors will also be expected to deliver professional services for platform configuration, onboarding of foundation teams, and integration enablement with ITSM/ITOM and SIEM systems. Additionally, suppliers must support change management, training, and the design of a sustainable service operating model. However, full implementation across all systems, refactoring of existing logging setups, and development of custom dashboards or SIEM/ITSM functionality are explicitly out of scope.
