Project Managers plan and manage the delivery of projects. Please see attached position description for details.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Blending your project management and technical skillsets to deliver a variety of strategic data and application business facing projects.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal IT and ASIC stakeholders as well as external stakeholders where appropriate.
- Adhering to the ASIC Project Management Methodology, which is based on PRINCE2, and ASIC System Development Methodology (Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall as required).
- Driving projects to deliver within the approved KPIs: time, budget, scope, quality, risk and benefit;
- Embedding the change utilising the ASIC Organisational Change Management Framework;
- Providing appropriate reporting to relevant project boards, sponsors and stakeholders;
- Controlling the project using appropriate tools and escalating early to minimize risk to success;
- Identifying resource requirements, engaging and managing resources;
- Complying with the Commonwealth procurement rules and processes.
