Council is seeking tenders from qualified and capable contractors for replacement of sections of the external combustible wall claddings for One Flintoff at1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough VIC 3088.

The Council appointed Dobbs Doherty (fire engineers) DDEG to prepare a performance solution report addressing the risk of external combustible wall claddings at WaterMarc & One Flintoff. The Council submitted the performance solution report to the BAB (Building Appeals Board) for their review and approval. The Council received BAB’s approval, determination & orders on 04 March 2025.

BAB permitted partial retention of existing Aluminium Composite Panels with 100% organic polymer and 28% organic polymer content, Steel-skinned Polyisocyanurate panels (Steel-skinned PIR panels), and Polycarbonate panels installed on multiple elevations and locations on/within the external walls of the building, having regard to the Fire Engineering Report ref. 21821 rev 2 dated 25 March 2024 prepared by DDEG (Fire).

The work will include the installation of a new safety façade monorail to levels 3 & 4 at the same building and maintaining the garden beds at both levels.
