The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tender from suitably qualified and experienced sports oval redevelopment contractors to undertake the redevelopment of the Spring Creek Sporting Oval, Torquay.

Details of the project and the scope of works are set out in the tender documentation.

Scope:

The extent of works includes:

i. Site clearing

ii. Bulk earthworks

iii. Construction of stormwater drainage

iv. Construction of concrete kerbs and pavements

v. Supply and installation of natural turf sports field (including turf wickets), including:

i. establishment and consolidation of turf within an appropriate turf farm

ii. testing and selection of rootzone sand and drainage gravel

iii. installation of drainage gravel and approved rootzone sand

iv. harvesting, transportation, and laying turf rolls

v. initial establishment maintenance of turf

vi. performance testing of the final turf playing surface

vi. Installation of fencing

vii. Installation of specialist synthetic sports surface

viii. Supply and installation of sports equipment

ix. Supply of maintenance and operation manuals, as-built drawings

x. Defect rectification (during defined period).

Tenders must be completely uploaded into the electronic tender box by the closing time. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

Tenders not complying with the requirements - for example, tenders submitted by facsimile or email, will not be accepted.

It is the Tenderer's responsibility to ensure that correct lodgement occurs. Submissions not conforming to these conditions may not be accepted, in the absolute discretion of Council.

Tenders are to be lodged no later than 2:00 PM on the 24 September 2025.

Late or incorrectly lodged tenders will not be considered.
