Tender Description
The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to create a shortlist of suitably qualified and experienced contractors to construct the stormwater works as per the Dryside Engineering documents and the wash bay facilities as per the Speedywash documents.
To be selected on the shortlist you must demonstrate your experience delivering projects in live environments where staging, sequencing, out of hours works, planning and excellent communication are critical to the success of the project.
Visy Recycling is a tenant on the site and their operations must not be interrupted during the works.
The Banyule Waste Transfer Station operations must only be minimally interrupted if necessary.
This document should be read in conjunction with the Banyule Procurement Policy and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
An overview of the works includes but is not limited to:
• Procurement of lead time items
• Storm water, sewer and associated works as per Dryside Engineering documentation
• Retaining wall and associated works as per Dryside Engineering documentation
• Washbay and associated works as per Speedywash documentation
• Acoustic Shed as per Speedywash documentation
• Demolition and make good of existing sweeper bay excluding the footings
• Staging and sequencing of all works to ensure continued operation for Visy Recycling
• Staging and sequencing of all works to ensure minimal disruption to Banyule operations
