The NSW Department of Education leverages the IBM System iSeries platform, as a service integral to the efficient operation of our educational institutions. This platform serves numerous vital business processes, including the recruitment, onboarding and assignment of the most suitable teaching, administrative and executive positions for schools statewide. In addition, to its role in personnel management, the IBM System iSeries platform currently functions as our primary system for processing casual pay for the Assisted Transport Support Officers.
As The Department prioritises contingency, efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in our operations, it recognises the importance of securing expert support and management services for our IBM System iSeries platform. This request for Tender (RFT) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for ongoing operational support and ongoing compliance adherence.
