Tender Description
Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced commercial builders for the design & construction of a multipurpose clubroom development at the Navarre Recreation Reserve, Cambridge Street, Navarre.
The project will consider and align with AFL Preferred Facility Guidelines, Netball Victoria Facilities Manual and Cricket Australia Community Cricket facility Guidelines to ensure the needs of sports are addressed to a minimum standard as well as fit for purpose outcomes for the Navarre community.
Tenderers should note that the Project is to be undertaken via a two stage process. These stages are briefly summarised below, although Tenderers should carefully review clause 10 of the Formal Instrument of Agreement to the Conditions of Contract for a more detailed explanation of this contractual structure.
The Project has been divided into two distinct stages being the Separable Portion 1 Works (Design) and the Separable Portion 2 Works (Construction). The Council has adopted this structure because it considers that tenderers may not be in a position to price the Separable Portion 2 Works at this point in time.
