Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / The Construction of Rozelle Parklands Facilities Enhancement

⁠⁠⁠Tenderers are invited from suitably experienced companies to undertake the construction of the Rozelle Parklands Facilities Enhancement. This Project comprises the construction of the following:

Facilities building intended to be used as change rooms, umpires’ rooms storage with provisions for a kiosk facility;

• Multi-purpose courts;

• Lighting towers over the AFL/cricket oval and rectangular oval; and

• Public Toilet Facility (Prefabricated)

The Project seeks to create a recreational sports facility offering diverse activities and community engagement within the Parklands. The mixed-use courts will cater for recreational netball, basketball and futsal. Installing lighting towers around the sports fields will also create further opportunities for the public to utilize the public space, forming part of the Project’s commitment to green infrastructure. The Project also includes the construction of an additional toilet block opposite the children’s playground.

The fabricator for the steelwork for the building must be registered for CC2 or above. The lighting towers must be prequalified for CC3 with TfNSW.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10:00AM on Friday 12 January 2024 at 33 James Craig Road, Rozelle and via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. No site inspection will be held.

Prospective tenderers will need to complete, sign and return the confidentially deed to Fion.Chan@transport.nsw.gov.au (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to download the Request for Tender documents.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
