You are invited to provide a response to Request for Information JSD/RFI/25822/3 relation to the LC4 Program, LAND 4140. The LC4 Program (the Land Command, Control, Communications and Computing Program) will deliver the next generation of Land C4 capability into the Joint Land Force. The Program will modernize and enhance Land C4 systems in order to deliver decision-making superiority and improve the Command and Control, intelligence, sensors, and weapon system effectors, essential for the conduct of Joint Land Force operations.
This RFI seeks industry perspectives regarding an Open Architecture Approach for future Land C4 Systems. For clarity, this includes all future C4 equipment acquired and sustained by other Land and Defense programs that is intended to operate in the land domain.
You are under no obligation to respond to this RFI. However, please note that the information being sought by this RFI has been identified by Defense as important for planning purposes, and to inform Defense decision making, in relation to LAND 4140. In seeking your response, Defense wishes to ensure that this planning and decision making occurs with the full benefit of information provided by your organization.
