The Department of Veterans' Affairs Veterans' Medicines Advice and Therapeutics Education Services (Veterans' MATES) Editorial Committee seeks an RACP Representative.
Description
The RACP is seeking a representative to join the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veterans’ Medicines Advice and Therapeutics Education Services (Veterans’ MATES) Editorial Committee. Ideally a Fellow that is aware of the medical and pharmaceutical issues affecting veterans and their families, or have a particular interest in quality use of medicines.
The Veterans’ MATES program has operated since 2004 and aims to improve the health outcomes and quality of life of veterans and their families through optimising the quality use and management of medicines and health services.
The Editorial Committee meets four times a year either virtually or in Canberra, with the first meeting scheduled for May 2023. An element of this meeting will be to establish the Terms of Reference of the Editorial Committee. Read the draft Terms of Reference (PDF) before applying.
UniSA will pay a sitting fee, travel, transfers and meals expenses associated with attending the meeting. Additional out-of-pocket expenses incurred attending the meeting may be reimbursed.
