Mental Health Multidisciplinary Service Program – Service Providers

⁠⁠⁠Adelaide Primary Health Network (Adelaide PHN) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit a tender to deliver the Mental Health Multidisciplinary Service (MHMS) Program in 'Place' within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Catchment area of Adelaide.

There is a recognised need for more accessible, appropriate and integrated long-term multidisciplinary care for people experiencing complex mental health conditions and/or suicide distress, particularly in underserviced communities in the outer suburbs of the SALHN Catchment area.

In response, Adelaide PHN has received Commonwealth funding to support the implementation of the MHMS Program. The Program in 'Place' aims to strengthen the capacity of at least four identified general practices to deliver coordinated, whole-person, multidisciplinary mental health care in partnership with a commissioned service provider. Based on the Program design, 'Place' is comprised of people residing within the SALHN region which includes Onkaparinga, Marion, Mitcham and Holdfast LGAs.

The Program will support participating general practices to embed multidisciplinary team-based care, including clinical coordination, practical support, peer support, referral pathways, shared care planning, information sharing, escalation processes and coordinated care arrangements. The Program is intended to support people of all ages experiencing complex mental health conditions and/or suicide distress, including people from identified at-risk groups, for up to two years across the 2026–27 and 2027–28 financial years.

The commissioned service provider will receive up to $2,557,800 (ex GST) for service delivery throughout the Program delivery period.

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses must be submitted via the online application form. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt that will be timed and dated upon completion.
