Tender Description
The Capella Aquatic Centre is an existing aquatic centre located in the town of Capella in the Central Highlands region in Queensland.
The specification document covers the water treatment system supply, install and commissioning of the works as well as the minor structural and finishes works required.
Aquatic Elements: The aquatic elements onsite along with a brief summary of the works being undertaken are as follows:
Outdoor 50m lap pool (Replacement of wet deck grating)
Outdoor learners pool (no works required)
Outdoor spa pool (to be deleted)
Outdoor circular wading pool (to be deleted)
Outdoor waterslide pool (to be converted into a Learn to Swim Pool)
Full site (Provision of equipotential bonding system)
Filtration Plant: Currently two filtration systems are installed onsite. Summaries of these systems along with a brief summary of works being undertaken are as follows:
Common filtration system servicing all pools onsite bar the spa (breaking off the wading and waterslide pools, undertaking condition and operational
updates)
Spa filtration system (to be deleted and replaced with standalone Learn to Swim pool system)
