Provision of Cleaning Services For Geelong Library & Heritage Centre and Geelong Regional Libraries

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geelong, on behalf of the Geelong Regional Library Corporation, invites tenders for the Provision of Cleaning Services for the Geelong Regional Library network.

The aim of this contract is to provide cleaning services to the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre and the Geelong regional Libraries, detailed in the specification, to ensure all libraries are, and remain, clean, safe and presentable at the start of each day.

The whole of the services is to be executed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent in strict accordance with the Specification, the Conditions of Contract and any documents that form part of the Contract. The Contractor must have the capability and capacity to ensure that the requirements of the Specification will be always met.

Mandatory Tender briefing:

Please be advised that Libraries will conduct a mandatory tender briefing at 10:00 am, Tuesday 28 February 2023 at the Geelong Library & Cultural Centre, 51 Little Malop Street, Geelong. Prospective tenderers must attend this briefing. Failure of a tenderer to attend will result in their tender being excluded as a non-conforming tender.

Library representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the services and the tender process. Refer to the Tender documents for site location details.

Tenderers are required to notify Council of their attendance by emailing the contact person for the tender process beforehand.

Mandatory Criteria

All tenderers must be able to meet the mandatory criteria that applies to this tender for their submissiosn to be considered further. These conditions are:

1. Pass OH&S Requirements;

2. Be Registered under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 9VIIC) as it applies to Cleaning Contractors; and

3. Attendance at the Mnadartory Tebnder Briefing.
