Tender Description

The City of Greater Dandenong is seeking tender for construction Leonard Avenue Streetscape Project which includes Civil works, Landscaping works and Lighting upgrade works on Leonard Avenue, Noble Park as per design documentation included in tender package.

 
Scope of works under contract includes but not limited to:
 
• Complete construction works as per provided design to relevant specifications including Civil. Landscaping and Lighting upgrade;
 
• Location of services, Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) documentation and necessary protection required to protect services or infrastructure on site to avoid any damage;
 
• Acquire all relevant approvals from relevant authorities required to execute the works under contract, please note that received approvals to be provided to Council for record;
 
• Site establishment and disestablishment including required approvals;
 
• Complete and Supply CGD with a copy of a dilapidation survey (existing conditions report) and public consultation to provide residents and businesses with notification of works prior to commencement;
 
• Please note Contractor shall be responsible for rectifying damages caused during construction on their own cost;
 
• Construction and erection of security fencing and associated infrastructure to maintain Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) where required;
 
• Develop, supply and implement approved traffic management plan(s) (TMP);
 
• Develop, supply and implement Safety, Quality & Environmental Management Plans (EMP);
 
• Establish survey control and set out;
 
• Clearing and grubbing of site as required;
 
• Removal of any road and footpath signage where required;
 
• Demolition and disposal of infrastructure where required including asphalt, concrete, earthwork material and miscellaneous;
 
• Saw Cut where required in accordance with referenced specifications;
 
• Supply and placement, including trim and compaction of pavements and infrastructure in accordance with referenced specifications where necessary;
 
• Testing of materials in accordance with relevant specifications;
 
• Supply and construct line marking and delineation all to be in accordance with referenced specification;
 
• All Quality Assurance (QA) documentation as per the Contract;
 
• Lawful removal and disposal of all materials and waste. The Contractor is responsible for any associated costs;
 
• Demobilisation, cleaning of site and removal of temporary works and/or fencing to Superintendent satisfaction and approval.
