Tender Description
There has been long running drainage issues with the open drain outside the Jamieson CFA building. With only U bars to protect the pit and inadequate inflow (as seen right), therefore after investigation and internal design a 20m piped extension will be added and open drain to improve water flow and catchment. This also removes the open pit hazard near the Jamieson CFA building, who have been in regular contact with Council regarding this issue and improves stormwater catchment and flow in the area.
The second drainage upgrade will be the implementation of kerb and channel and road shoulder ceiling to improvements from the corner of Grey and Perkins Street. The major reason is to improve the nearby infrastructure for the implementation of an EV car charging initiative being led by the Jamieson Community Group.
The main objective of this project is to improve stormwater management and associated infrastructure within the Jamieson township.
