Tender Description
Council requires the services of a suitably experienced Civil Construction contractor for the construction of two significant pathway/pedestrian connectivity improvement locations in the township of Wallan (delivered as separable portions):
- The ‘Taylors Creek Shared Path’ sees the construction of a concrete shared pathway, and associated infrastructure, from King William Drive to Taylors Lane within the Taylors Creek Reserve in Wallan. (Separable Portion 1)
- The ‘King Street Missing Link’ sees construction of the ‘missing link’ footpath sections, and associated civil infrastructure, at King Street in Wallan from Stanley Street to King William Drive. (Separable Portion 2).
The Mitchell Shire Council will be looking to award both separable portions to a single contractor to ensure that the CHMP compliance for the works has a single source of responsibility and to ensure that there are no clashes at the interface of both separable portions.
