Tender Description
Southern Rural Water is seeking a suitably qualified construction contractor to upgrade the existing access arrangement to the two cone valves housed within the Melton Reservoir Energy Dissipater Pit.
Works to include but is not limited too;
>Fabrication, supply and installation of stairways, walkways, security gates and handrails;
>Supply and installation of coiled barbed wire to prevent unauthorised entry;
>Decommissioning and disposal of existing assets e.g. existing Iron Step Ladder;
>Dewatering of the Energy Dissipater Pit (as/if required); and
>Bulkhead and Customer Flow Bypass pumping (as/if required).
Work Site: The planned work site is located at the downstream base of the Melton Reservoir Dam, Victoria, Australia.
The Tentative date(s) for the onsite construction works is between the 15th Nov 2022 and the 30th Nov 2022, with a practical completion date of the 1st of December 2022.
