About this Request for Proposals:
Pitch Night is an initiative where community-driven, locally based organisations, including not-for-profits, from across the Murrumbidgee region, can pitch their innovative ideas for addressing health needs of their local communities in an effort to secure funding for their idea.

The aim is to provide one off grant funding, which is provided by MPHN, to establish innovative projects to meet the needs of the proposed community and potentially act as a catalyst for implementation in other communities. The benefit for those pitching is to gain exposure of their ideas, community support and funding to move their initiative forward. MPHN Pitch Night was launched in the Murrumbidgee region in 2019 with great success.
Pitch Night 2022 will focus on activities that aim to support population health across the Murrumbidgee region. Proposals will need to be based on one or more of the following themes:
1. increasing physical activity - getting moving;
2. improving nutrition - eating right, eating healthy;
3. enhancing mental wellbeing - developing resilience, building self-esteem, managing stress and anxiety; or
4. promoting healthy living - preventing and reducing unhealthy behaviours

Opportunity on offer:
MPHN is seeking request for proposals from community driven locally based organisations wishing to pitch for one-off funding at the Murrumbidgee Pitch Night, to be held in Finley, NSW on the evening of Monday, 26 September 2022.
