This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Fair Work Ombudsman and Registered Organisations Commission Entity (FWOROCE) is migrating a number of key applications from SharePoint 2013 into cloud-based platforms. We are seeking an experienced contractor ASAP until end December 2022 to work across the program supporting project and program activities.
Under limited direction, the duties of the Project Officer include, however, are not limited to:
• Manage and deliver programs/projects through to implementation under guidance of senior staff including Senior Project Officers and Project Managers.
• Provide input and advice to project proponents on relevant matters
• Provide secretariat support to project boards and steering committees, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, papers and minutes.
• Develop, implement and monitor budget controls and strategies
• Liaise with other sections, external agencies and external stakeholders and facilitate cross-agency or multi-agency planning of program delivery
• Coordinate risk assessment and risk management activities for a project or program
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and other planning artefacts, including briefs, reporting and management of resources
• Support business change activities, including coordinating and managing groups of subject matter experts engaged to undertake project activities
• Identify opportunities for collaboration and co-design including within user communities; and synergies across project boundaries
• Support the Senior Project Officer as required.
• Support continuous improvement and capability improvement to ensure that resources support the agency.
• Support the development of branch implementation plans and associated key activities to meet team outcomes.
The contractor will work 40 hours per week (8 hour days) with flexibility to work up to 40% of the week from home, subject to state and territory health guidelines.
Subject to the public health advice in place from time to time, the successful candidate will be required to attend the FWO offices regularly and, depending on the role, be required to attend other locations. In accordance with this requirement and the FWO’s work health and safety obligations, employees generally must be vaccinated against COVID-19, and provide satisfactory evidence of vaccination status.
