Position Purpose
The UX/UI Designer will contribute to the ongoing improvement of current and future digital product within the Office of the CIO. They will play a pivotal role in growing the Experience Design team’s footprint within the agency and help achieve great outcomes for all our users, participants and providers
The Experience Design team is a small and close-knit group of professionals who strive to make a difference for our stakeholders and users we are devoted to improving digital services. The right candidate will have a passion for creating great digital experiences for users living with disabilities.
The experience design team works on a variety of different projects within the Office of the CIO. Your previous experience designing both internal systems and citizen facing experiences will be an advantage as you will be required to support these various projects.
Some of our work gives us opportunities to dive deeply into complex problems while other initiatives require us to work quickly to deliver quality products in very tight timeframes.
Duties
Under the supervision and support of the Director of Experience Design, the UX/UI Designer will be responsible for the following duties:
• Design wireframes, prototypes and contribute to the NDIS Design system
• Facilitate co-design workshops to generate and iterate ideas with various stakeholders
• Facilitate usability testing with Staff, Providers, and participants of the scheme.
