Tender Description
The Alpine Shire requests a schedule of rates from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for grading required on the unsealed road networks to ensure compliance with Councils Road management Plan within the Alpine Shire Council.
There is a total budget of $118,000 excluding GST to undertake priority maintenance on specific sections of individual roads within our unsealed road network (attachment 2) and a limited window of opportunity to complete works before Winter. The Alpine Shire reserves the right to engage multiple contractors to complete the works across Myrtleford, Mount Beauty and Bright depending location on availability.
Included in your submission please outline your availability of suitably qualified staff and equipment between tender close and the end of the financial year.
Site works will include, moisture conditioning, grading and compaction of the unsealed roads.
Cleaning and shaping of table drain and run offs along road carriageways.
Successful tenderers shall have prior experience in all aspects of unsealed road maintenance works.
