Building Contractor Services - ESIA VICSES Port Fairy

⁠⁠⁠The Community Safety Building Authority (CSBA), on behalf of the Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified construction contractor to undertake construction works for the VICSES Port Fairy Unit project. CSBA intends to invite shortlisted suppliers identified from the Construction Supplier Register (CSR) to participate in a Request for Tender (RFT), specifically targeting contractors that are based regionally in the south-west of Victoria. The VICSES Port Fairy Unit project constitutes development of a site adjacent to the existing CFA Port Fairy Fire Brigade at 116 Princes Highway, Port Fairy, and development of a new building with administration spaces, 3 bay motor room, telecommunications tower and other ancillary facilities.

Construction of new VICSES Port Fairy Unit facility at 116 Princes Highway, Port Fairy. Unit facility includes site works (3250 sqm area) and building works (600sqm area) to be delivered in 2022.

Funding allocation committed in 2021-2022 State Budget Construction budget is less than $3.5M (ex. GST)

Supplier to consider the following criteria:

• demonstrated financial capacity
• established quality management and assurance system
• capacity and capability to deliver the requirements
• understanding of key deliverables as detailed in the project brief, operating environment and project methodology
• demonstrated experience in similar projects
• understanding of project pressures, timelines and interdependencies
