The Engagement-Business Development (BD) Lead plays a key role to drive use and growth of the DTA Marketplaces and other DTA sourcing arrangements. One of the key responsibilities of the role is providing regular client service, account management and BD support to key government buyers who are looking to use the Marketplaces and other sourcing arrangements for their digital procurement needs.
The position plays a key role in building buyer demand and increasing adoption of the services across government buyers. Buyers regularly seek strategic advisory support to understand the type and level of capability, expertise and products available from industry to meet their requirements.
This often involves conducting targeted and tailored meetings, presentations workshops and verbal advice with buyers to assist them to navigate the various digital sourcing Marketplaces and platforms support.
The Engagement-BD Lead role works closely with senior members of the digital sourcing branch. The role is also required to work closely with other DTA stakeholders to provide advisory support to agencies on strategic planning and investment.
