The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to engage the services of an Architect or Architecture based firm that can provide a range of services to develop the design and documentation required to undertake the staged redevelopment of the Fisherman’s Co-operative Building (Building) at the Apollo Bay Harbour. The range of services envisaged for the engagement include:
- Architectural and Building Design
- Preparation of Plans for concept, schematic and detailed
- Preparation of Specifications and schedules for calling tenders for building works
- Preparation of cost estimates for various stages of the project, including a QS level estimate.
- Structural design
- Geotechnical
- Refrigeration
- Lighting, including external
- Access and Inclusion assessments
- Engineering, including but not limited to Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire
Colac Otway Shire Council will own all IP created or used as part of the Works Under Contract.
Considerable work has been undertake to prepare concepts for the redevelopment, which are included within the RFT documents, and are to read as clear indications of the requirements and outcomes for the design for this project.
