Tender Description

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the specified personnel must undertake the following tasks:
 
a) Plan and manage Projects as part of CASA’s Capital Management Plan which may include Cloud, Infrastructure, Application or Business Intelligence projects in line with the ITB Project Management Framework;
b) Engage and manage a blended team of vendors, CASA staff and contractors;
c) Undertake procurement activities – including preparing approaches to market through to contract negotiations;
d) Develop project plans and provide detailed status reports on project progress and budget;
e) Work co-operatively and collaboratively with CASA’s Information Technology Branch (ITB) team, as well as other stakeholders within CASA;
f) Stakeholder, change and communication management;
g) Other related tasks as requested by CASA’s Chief Technology Officer, Section Manager, Service Delivery and/or Section Manager Digital Solutions.
 
The candidates provided must have the following skills:
 
Mandatory
a) Ten or more years of demonstrated experience managing and delivering ICT technical projects across Cloud, Infrastructure and Application Development domains.
b) Sound IT technical understanding and the ability to communicate at both business and technology layers.
c) Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and change management.
d) Demonstrated experience in managing diverse and blended teams.
e) Experience with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum and MSP [managing successful programs]).
f) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
g) Effective influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.
h) Excellent analytical and execution skills.
i) Knowledge of project planning tools, such as Microsoft Project and Project Server, with evidence of practical application.
Location
 
Based in Aviation House, Phillip, ACT the Resource must work (on average) 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) between the core hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
