This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The department requires a Senior ICT Program Manager to manage a program of work with a focus on budget processes, reporting and governance, as well as to manage related projects or programs.
The experience and skills we are looking for include:
• Successfully managed and executed Project and Program budgets within a Program Management Office (PMO) or large complex program of work; and
• Establishment and implementation of governance processes for project, program, and portfolio financial reporting.
The program manager will be required to work with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, to develop and implement project financial governance arrangements and processes within the Information Services Division to:
• Ensure clear alignment between ISD project and program budgets and the department’s strategic priorities;
• Assist the department in developing the annual Capital Works Program;
• Provide targeted advice for the executive relating to the financial health of the ISD portfolio, programs, and projects
• Provide reports, controls, and health checks to assist the PMO in the effective management and support of the project portfolio
• Provide well documented and supported processes to establish and manage project and program budgets, forecasts, and expenditure
• Facilitate long term management of assets capitalised through the project portfolio
• Ensure effective and timely adherence to end of financial year and other financial process deadlines; and
• Provide a foundation for effective resource planning and management.
