Tender Description
The department is expanding the use of electronic certificates for import clearance (not scanned PDFs of original certificates). These 'eCerts' are exchanged government to government. There are third parties who undertake verification of eCerts as part of approved arrangements with the department made under the Chapter 7 of the Biosecurity Act. These third parties require access to specific eCerts held in departmental import systems. The Business Analyst will be required to undertake business system analysis for a proposed third-party access capability. Systems relevant to the analysis include XML, SQL Database, Microsoft Azure DevOps and C#.net. Work to be performed includes:
• Visualisation of business needs, goals, objectives, problems and vision
• Elicitation of requirements
• Documenting functional and non-functional requirements
• Documenting use cases, epics and/or case studies
• Documenting business processes
• Support ICT Strategies, Business and Enterprise Architecture
• Prepare high-quality business and technical documentation
• Establish effective relationships to facilitate decision making to meet deliverables and schedule; and
• Collaborate within and across teams to establish and document best practices in various functional/business areas.
