PROJECT SUMMARY
South-West TAFE is undertaking refurbishment works to Building F as part of the Victorian Government TAFE Asset Maintenance Program.
Building F is a large three storey educational facility located at the Warrnambool Campus and houses a range of theory and practical learning spaces, staff areas, support spaces and client facing salon facilities. These areas will remain as live environments throughout the duration of the project.
The project comprises of a three storey architecturally designed façade and expanded foyer space in addition to an internal refurbishment to select areas across all three floors. The improved facility will focus on delivering increased and improved learning spaces in addition to new accessible student amenities.
The project is expected to go out to tender in late March 2021, with a two-week response period, under a selective tender process using a Construct Only form of contract. The contract will be a Victorian Public Construction Contract.

SELECTIVE TENDER INFORMATION
It is anticipated that 4 firms will be invited to submit a tender.
The firm must be prequalified in New Commercial Construction on the Construction Supplier Register with a minimum project limit of at least $4.5 million.
Other considerations will be the firm’s capacity, capability and experience on education, civic, and live environment projects.
