Tender Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking to procure a contemporary enterprise Laboratory Information Management System/Platform (LIMS) for the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory (VIDRL) and the Microbiological Diagnostic Unit (MDU) public health reference laboratories. The platform is expected to be fully managed by a vendor that can support the complex and diverse service needs of these laboratories, including the integration of genomic testing and analysis to improve disease detection, surveillance and management of outbreaks.
The scope is expected to include the provision, installation, customisation, configuration, integration, migration and on-going support and maintenance (as a fully managed service) of the LIMS platform to support the requirements of VIDRL and MDU. The fully managed service is to be inclusive of all cloud infrastructure.
This procurement activity is subject to funding however business expectation is the funding will be confirmed prior to RFT release.
