Tender Description
East Grampians Health Service is seeking suitably qualified and experienced maintenance service providers to work with us for a period of 5 years. Throughout the contract term supplier performance will be reviewed annually.
Maintenance services that have been identified but not limited to are;
• Asbestos handling / removal
• Electrician (Registered & Licenced)
o General*
o Data
o RCD
• Glazier
• Painter
• Pest Control
• Plasterer
• Plumber (Registered & Licenced)
o General*
o Sewer*
o Gas*
o TMV (CPCPWT4023A Commission and maintain hot and heated water temperature control devices)
o Backflow Testing (CPCPWT4022A Commission and maintain backflow prevention devices)
• Refrigeration
o Mechanic*
o Cleaner
• Security
o Alarms*
o CCTV
o Door Access
The output of engaging these trades is the maintenance of the health services’ assets including buildings, grounds, plant and equipment in a safe, timely and reliable manner.
Engagement will be as required or as part of a preventative maintenance schedule. Timeliness will be agreed as follows;
• General maintenance – within 5 business days or as agreed with the health service
• Urgent or emergency – Preference may be given to suppliers who can respond within agreed times as negotiated with the health service. *These times are 30 minutes for remote response and 2 hours for onsite attendance.
• Preventative maintenance – as per the agreed schedule
• Minor works – as agreed at time of requesting quotes
Providers must hold and provide proof of the necessary licences, qualifications, procedures and experience relevant to the service they are offering particularly if they are involved in the following, but not limited to, list of high risk activities;
• Asbestos removal/handling
• Confined spaces access
• Hot work
• Scaffolding
• Working at heights
• Excavation work
Whilst working on-site the suppliers must;
• Comply with site policies and processes
• Comply with site inductions where required
• Comply with the OH&S Act
• At the completion of relevant jobs provide the necessary documentation as per Australian Standards or Statutory Requirements
