Tender Description
Central Highlands Water (CHW) is seeking submissions to lease two parcels of CHW land known as the Cardigan Wastewater Treatment Plant property at Smarts Hill Road, Cardigan for cropping and grazing purposes.
Additionally CHW is seeking submissions for the Use of Reclaimed Water from the Cardigan Wastewater Treatment plant to be utilised and irrigated on CHW land and/or on additional non-CHW owned land.
CHW is seeking a long term commercial relationship with a valued partner that can grow an irrigation scheme in conjunction with the anticipated growth of residential development in the area and the ultimate increased volume of reclaimed water to be irrigated from the Cardigan Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Lease Agreement will be a standard CHW Lease Agreement and will be subject to annual rental adjustment for rise and fall in rental.
The Lease Agreement will be for a five (5) year term with one five year extension available at CHW's discretion.
